Terms and Conditions…

 

  • All survey inspection reports produced by Improve My Move are purely based on a visual property inspection at the agreed survey inspection date. All findings and report details are solely based on what Improve My Move could visually check on the date of the survey. 

  • Improve My Move will not tamper with any part of a property, therefore we will not be held liable for any issues that arise after the survey inspection date. 

  • Improve My Move are not liable for the condition of the property before, during or after the survey inspection date. 

  • Any area Improve My Move cannot get too and therefore see, we will not visually inspect, this will be noted on our rating charts accordingly. 

  • The report is provided for your use, Improve My Move cannot accept responsibility if it is used, or relied upon, by anyone else. 

  • Any non-visual surveys and certifications will be carried out by relevantly accredited engineers. 

  • Any issues or defects found are down to the client to sort the relevant remedial works. 

  • Before the inspection you should tell us if you have any particular concerns or have seen any issues or defects with the property. 

  • Improve My Move gives no representations or warranties, express or implied, and no responsibility or liability is accepted for the accuracy or completeness of the information inserted into the report, or any other written or oral information given to any interested party or its advisers. Any such liability is expressly disclaimed. 

  • Services are generally hidden within the construction of the property. This means that Improve My Move can only inspect the visible parts of the available services, and we do not carry out specialist tests unless requested separately. The visual inspection cannot assess the services to make sure they work efficiently and safely, and meet modern standards. 

  • Improve My Move do not act as a legal adviser and will not comment on any legal documents. All survey inspection reports produced by Improve My Move are not legally binding. 

  • Inspections are carried out by qualified tradespersons. 

  • Improve My Move are not chartered surveyors and have no affiliation with RICS home surveys.

  • All clients should read and understand our terms and conditions before agreeing to a survey / inspection. If a survey / inspection is agreed and scheduled in, Improve My Move accept this as the client understanding and agreeing to the terms and conditions. 

  • Cancellation or Missed Appointment; failure to notify within 24 hours will result in a cancellation fee of 50% of the total survey inspection cost.
